This means we are entering into summer from springtime since during these days the seasons change

And it became a tradition we hold on to every year, to fast during the seasonal changes

We fast for more than just health benefits

We fast to give the body a break and calm the mind

We fast for spiritual reasons and for discipline

We fast because Jesus Christ fasted and instructs us to do the same

Fasting helps us grow closer to our purpose

We fast because we already have enjoyed too much
