Hello everyone!

I made it back from the Amazon rainforest and left with an unusual hunting experience.

During my stay with the Huaorani people, I met a blowpipe hunter. He taught me how to use the blowpipe, and we practiced shooting birds high up in the tree.

We also hunted with guns and went fishing for piranha fish.

The Amazon is a dense forest full of life. But you have to know where to find it.

Two things I have learned from my stay with the indigenous.

First, they master their environment, knowing what to use and for what. The knowledge that was transferred to me overloaded my mind with information I was completely new towards.

Secondly, they PROVIDE. The men of the tribe always come home with some form of food, and the women cook that food.

Partner roles, everyone knows what to do, and everyone knows his or her role.

Life is simple and easy.

Traveling is fun, I have been voyaging for about 5 months now and came to the understanding that the life of a traveler is not sustainable.
