What the length of your fingers reveals about your T levels

The length of your ring finger compared to your index finger can show you how much you were exposed to testosterone when you were in the womb.

If your ring finger is longer than your index finger, you were more exposed to testosterone.

If your index finger is longer than your ring finger, estrogen exposure was more dominant.

Don’t worry if your index finger is longer than your ring finger. This is merely a snapshot from the time you were in the womb.

Science shows that prenatal exposure to testosterone determines the index to ring finger ratio. As you can see the ring finger (4D) has more androgen receptors, whereas the index finger (2D) has more estrogen receptors - which explains the difference in length in men and woman.
